EARTH A.D. (CANADA)

Earth A.D. was formed sometime in the summer of 1990 in Moncton New Brunswick by the brothers Shane and Todd Mazerolle who teamed up with highschool buddy Shannon Osburne. They recorded their first demo "No More" in September of that year. In fall of 1991 they record a follow up entitled "Scars of the Mind" again with hometown legend/recording engineer Rick White at the helm. In 1992 the band recorded 5 songs with 3 of them later ending up on the 1993 7" ep "A Crucifix" 500 hand numbered on ice blue colored vinyl. The band went on hiatus for a few years after this because Todd went to finish his studies away from home and Shane and his wife had a baby. Things got back into gear around 1995 though, after having experienced some technical difficulties in the studio, finally in 1998 they release their first demo cd "These Days". A promo video was made for the song "No Reason" which was aired on Much Music's Loud program a few times. In 2005 they released "On the Surface" and then pretty much called it a day.
